Equally, criminals often leave their DNA crime scene making it essential to conduct DNA profiling. Without these technological tools, it is hard to solve criminal cases and administer justice; thus, it is essential to analyse their contribution to the American legal landscape.

DNA databases help in the provision of justice in the American Law courts. They comprise DNA profiles that aid in matching the DNA of suspects and convicted criminals (Murphy, 2018). Within these databases, all the American DNA material is recorded (Murphy, 2018). If an offender leaves behind materials containing their DNA, the criminal justice system collects the sample and compares its sequence with the DNA in their systems.
