I will speak about the industry overview part of our business plan. From research, we discovered that Puppy Play will face intense competition from other yoga and other health and fitness facilities in Fullerton city. The city in which we will operate has numerous health and fitness facilities, such as Independence Park, Lemon Park, Gilbert Park, and Woodcrest Park. The main competitor for our business is Fitness Room Reopening. Others include Hot 8 Yoga, Good Moodra Yoga, Lotus Yoga OC, Purple Yoga, Bikram Yoga Fullerton, and Kosha 5 Yoga Studio.
I will also talk a little about the history of yoga in the US, which is part of ancient practices involving the entire body of spiritual experience. As people sought answers to their problems, they turned to higher powers to connect with nature. Swami Vivekananda, born in 1863, introduced Yoga to the US, and although the practice has undergone some changes, the basic principle of oneness with nature remains important. People seeking healthier lifestyles turn to yoga and other wellness programs.
We discovered that some unique elements or practices include the spirituality dimension. Unlike other practices, such as the gym, yoga comprises a spiritual dimension that helps people connect with nature to achieve holistic wellness.
During our research, we found out that the industry is also prone to environmental issues, trade regulations, labor relations, and health & safety regulations. Environmental issues include the focus on oneness with nature and yoga could play a key role in activist efforts to protect the environment. Trade regulations regulates the company as well as labor relations operates from the perspective of protecting the rights of employees.
In summary, Puppy Play fits into the industry since it will focus on providing yoga services to clients. Yoga and other meditative practices are part of the health and wellbeing of the target community.
