Integration of Unmanned Aircraft into the United States Airspace
Private sector and governments efforts to change the Unmanned Aircraft System “UAS” enabling job creation, potentially spurring economic growth and whole new market. The efforts
made is to assess and test integration of the public and civil drone operation into National Airspace System “NAS.” Consequently, the pilot program made by the stakeholders is to help the Federal Aviation Administration “FAA” and United State Department of Transportation “USDOT” establish new laws in areas with low operations. Moreover, there are several learning institutions and organizations that innovate various UAS designs to enhance feasibility of the proposed plan. The collaboration between the private sector and the government may spur the innovation and assist UAS transform the commercial aviation industry.
UAS integration will have a positive impact on economy, job creation and market. The economic benefits to the country will be enormous through the sales of markets that is agriculture and public safety, which would increase the tax revenue in the country(Ron,2016). Through the integration there would be job creation in the manufacturing process. The economic and employment impact are expected to increase significantly . The economic growth and job creation will improve through the integration.
The UAS intergration has a bright future through improvement of cargo and passengers transport (Ella,2017). Through the integration, the UAS will distribute and deliver cargo from cargo facilities. Consequently, the cost of labour is reduced due to replacement of shipping activities for instance; humans among other vices. Transportation of passengers from the airport will therefore be enhanced in the future by integration of UAS. The integration hence forms a pillar towards reduction of congestion in the smaller commercial airports.
UAS promise to change the face of civil and commercial aviation by enabling potentially spurring economic growth, new markets that is agriculture and public safety and job creation in the manufacturing process. The pilot programme implemented by the USDOT and FAA would help areas with low operations. The UAS integration would improve the cargo and passenger transport from the airpot by reducing congestion at smaller commercial airport and reducing cost of labor by replacing human labor and other vices. Therefore UAS integration has great impact on economy and transportation of cargo and passengers.
