Nursing comprises of the service to the people particularly the sick, injured, the growing children, and those dying. The services are also applied in promoting health, preventing diseases and educating people on the health issues. Having the desire to influence lives positively and serve humanity, I believe that becoming a nurse would be an opportunity to realize the aspiration. My passion in nursing was also triggered after witnessing the compassion my grandmother who cared for my aged and ill grandfather. At times, I used to join her in administering medicine and laundry of his clothes.
Compelled by the desire, I have ensured that the subjects selected in the high schools are prerequisite to the profession. Additionally, I have undertaken personal research to learn more about the challenges faced by nurses. My decision is therefore informed, hence am prepared to face and overcome the challenges.
In addition to the desire and passion in the profession, one is required to possess relevant qualities. Effective communication, teamwork, and patience are important personal attributes that will assist me in performing my duties effectively. The skills will help me to work together with the patients, fellow PR actioners, and caregivers for better outcomes.
The realization of my dream would, however, depend on the opportunity to pursue nursing as a course. Your institution is among the best offering nursing as a training program; am seeking the opportunity to join the college as an opportunity for the realization of the career objective. I promise to work hard in research and my academic responsibilities to uphold the values of the school. I also promise to cooperate with other students through discussion and group projects to uplift my performance and that of fellow students.
